Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Literature Prize!
On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, the award ceremony of the 34th and final literature competition took place at DISDH. A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of the winning translation, performed together with the author Mario Wurmizer.
Our sincere thanks go to Mario Wurmizer, who also visited several classes the following day and gave students insights into his experiences as a writer. We would also like to thank our valued partners KulturNetz aan Zee and the embassies of Austria, Germany, and Switzerland for their support, as well as our generous sponsors, without whom this event would not have been possible.
Special thanks also go to our pianist Johannes and to the dedicated students of grades 11 and 12, whose commitment made this final literature competition truly special.
