At the invitation of Baden-Württemberg International, we took part in an information trip through the higher education and university landscape of Baden-Württemberg with five students. Each year, five international schools are selected to participate.
📍 Monday: Visit to DHBW Stuttgart with insights into the dual study system
📍 Tuesday: Visits to the Universities of Heidelberg and Mannheim. A particularly nice highlight was meeting a former DISDH student, who guided us around the Heidelberg campus and openly shared her study experiences.
📍 Wednesday: Visits to universities of applied sciences in Reutlingen and Nürtingen – with the important takeaway that studying at a university of applied sciences is equivalent to studying at a university and mainly differs in its practical focus.
📍 Thursday: To conclude the week, we were able to get a glimpse into the Aerospace Engineering program and visit the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences.
In addition to many new impressions, international friendships were formed with students from Albania, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, and the United Arab Emirates.
