EXCELLENT, FAMILIAR, WARM, AND INTERNATIONAL

The German International School The Hague (DISDH) is honored to be recognised as an “Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule” and is renowned as the most prestigious German educational community in the Netherlands, offering excellent schooling for over 150 years. Children as young as 2 years old can join our bilingual kindergarten. Our international educational offering not only allows students to follow the German curriculum in the Netherlands but also fosters an international perspective.

The quality of our school is evident not only in above-average Abitur grades compared to domestic standards but also in the dedicated promotion of our students’ core social competencies. We specifically prepare them for vocational training or university studies in Europe and globally. Our primary goal is to lay the foundation for a successful professional or academic career through holistic education and personal support.

ALL UNDER ONE ROOF:

Children and adolescents learn under one roof with us. Guided by our competent pedagogical team, they experience smooth transitions at each new step into a higher educational level.

For everyone the right path

We accompany children from kindergarten to Abitur and aim for comprehensive, high-quality education tailored to individual needs.

In the bilingual kindergarten, experienced educators lay the groundwork for a positive learning environment, focusing on fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development.

The pre-school/primary school provides a stimulating learning environment where students can discover and develop their individual abilities. Our educators follow a holistic approach based on the German curriculum (Baden-Württemberg).

In Secondary School I and II, we guide adolescents through challenging curricula that foster intellectual and personal development. Committed teachers support students to the best of their ability, while holistic and project-oriented work creates optimal conditions for successful graduation.

FAMILIAR AND WARM ATMOSPHERE

The deliberate design of our school community creates a supportive and familiar environment. With a manageable institution size and all educational stages under one roof, we can individually address the needs of each child and ensure personal care. This structure not only promotes the bond between teacher and student but also among the students themselves. This strengthens social and emotional competencies that accompany them on their life journey.
