This was followed in 2019 by the novel “The Light is Much Brighter Here”, the film rights that have been optioned. She promotes literature on various stages and social media channels, focusing on female narrative voices. 2022 published her latest book, “The Rage That Remains”, about the burden dumped on women and rebelling. In her own words, Mareike Fallwickl wants to “take a revealing look at our society in her novels – without ever losing her sense of humour”.
